Didn’t have a plan didn’t know what gye was or anything and fell after two days. Was pretty upset and wondered what’s wrong with me. Just finished my first sefira clean. Wow

feels like forever since my last post. Hectic Purim was great tho.
yesterday had probably my biggest slip yet since this series I guess you can call it. Basically I had something opened that I needed for Purim and didn’t get it closed quick enough, and spent time last night looking at not the cleanest stuff. Not considering it a total fall because it didn’t fall into my red circle. (And probably cuz I’ll get too depressed if I have to start from the beginning, dunno if it’s how it works but whatever). Anyway I got that hole closed up today.

Of course you're accomplishing something. 55 days of being clean is amazing!
Who says you need to get to a point where you don't need a filter? Setting up a proper filter is a huge accomplishment on its own. This is just the yetzer hara trying to put down your truly astonishing accomplishments.

We are not the same people we once were. We are not so locked into our urges that we have no choice. We can choose to give in or choose to win this battle today. We do not want to give in, the pleasure of giving in is false.
With Hashem on our side our victory is inevitable; the only way we can lose is by giving up on playing the game.
