Welcome back. Happy to hear you are doing well. You were missed.

About 5 things in a row went wrong...like losing 5 games in a row in tennis. I feel defeated and like I want to cheer myself up. The thought of looking at forbidden things and/or masturbating has come up.
I know things will turn around and I will win a few games.
Just thought I would write in...kind of like an S.O.S
All chizuk welcome.
I have to find a good substitute to cheer me up that isn't usser.
I still have the whole day left...hopefully this will turn around right now.
The fact that I wrote now in this vulnerable spot was a 1 game win right there.

Thanks for the update אחי. Sending some love your way, you can get out of this rut. Even if it's difficult. My theory is: We sometimes think that when we sin we messed up. Then we have to fix our screw up & we're just a really bad guy, unable to succeed at what God wants me to succeed at.There's a problem with thinking that way. Perhaps, Hashem wants to see how we succeed, how we get up, after being knocked down. And the sin that we did was actually something that Hashem expected from us, he didn't look at us any worse because of it. Kinda like Shaul Hamelech is looked at as a tzadik even though he was chasing Dovid Hamelech, and trying to kill him. Hashem made him do that, so he's not considered evil.

Picking myself up. Feeling stronger. Coping better.
Patience and Trusting that HaShem is taking care of me and loves me.
Relationship with my wife is turning the corner and getting better.
I did something huge to accommodate her and she took notice.
I should have realized all along that I need to take the lead,
in order to improve our relationship. Boruch HaShem it's working.
--------------
Several neighbors have shown me why we are in the 3 weeks and don't have
a Beis HaMikdash. HaShem has helped me deal with all of them and I just have
to finish up with one of them soon.
--------------
Though I am a "stress eater", I am back eating healthy (after taking a HUGE 3 month Pesach break).
Who knew a Pesach break could be that long?!
---------------
I would love to get heartfelt replies here, but for regular contact, support, and growth, I think
email is the way to go.
Thanks
