A hamayvin yavin day is when we want and sometimes even try to view inappropriate things but arent successful. So although we didnt even slip per se we are not happy about it.

Ah. 

That's a day when hashem steps in and tells us - "you've gone as far as you need to, now let me take over for a few minutes."

Maybe we should have a different name for it - like "yad hashem" days? or soemthing better than that, that's just an example...

You should - we do our best, and then hashem steps in and puts the finishing touches on - every day! So if he's doing that, you must be doing something right.

Well, you'd better know that I'm correct about you doing what you need to (I'm not in the mood of lying to eretz yisroel just to force you to admit it. I'm going with reb yeruchum here - hashem is always helping us out. So we can never take full credit for our success. On the other hand, that means that if he's helping us out, we've been as successful as we need to be, and just need to make sure we keep doing the best we can.

Maybe Hashem made you have that day so you could be reminded that He's here for you!
