Funny, imtrying25, but a guy called me today and told me his rough day seemed to be mondays, too!

Im really sorry to tell you all that i didnt have you in mind when i went to the kosel. I ACTUALLY SAID IT OUT OF MY MOUTH!!!! i never believed i would be able to do it but i did. Nothing stops me when i feel im giving back to people who have given me so much.
Truth be told, although i live here in yerushalayim i dont go to the kosel often. Its because sadly there is so much there that i dont want to see. The addict that i am has such hard time not looking at things and getting triggered. But i can say for myself that tonight was alot better. It may of taken an extra second or two but i did look away. Sometimes i tried not even to look. And i wasnt even with my wife. So i guess im slightly proud of myself if thats ok. i said extra tehillim for everyone on gye!



Hey Mom this is a something i posted on a different thread. Notice i dont go too often either. Or better yet i barely go at all. And it bothers me. But i think i have a good reason. But now that i seem to be getting better at it i think ill start going once again. before we had our daughter my wife and i would go every thursday nite together. it was really nice. Now its much harder cuz you need to get a babysitter. Hey maybe i can get Rage to babysit. sounds like hes really good at it!! :D Btw did you ever get the mishpacha????? Mom Cmon!

A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet.  He held up a sign which said: "I am blind, please help."  There were only a few coins in the hat.






A man was walking by.  He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat.  He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words.  He put the sign back so that everyone who walked by would see the new words.

Soon the hat began to fill up.  A lot more people were giving money to the blind boy.  That afternoon the man who had changed the sign came to see how things were.  The boy recognized his footsteps and asked, "Were you the one who changed my sign this morning?  What did you write?"







The man said, "I only wrote the truth.  I said what you said but in a different way."
I wrote: "Today is a beautiful day but I cannot see it."

Both signs told people that the boy was blind.  But the first sign simply said the boy was blind.  The second sign told people that they were so blessed that they were not blind.  Should we be surprised that the second sign was more effective?




Moral of the Story: Be thankful for what you have. Be creative. Be innovative.  Think differently and positively.

When life gives you a 100 reasons to cry, show life that you have 1000 reasons to smile.  Face your past without regret.  Handle your present with confidence.  Prepare for the future without fear. Keep the faith and drop the fear.
