Sad the only people left from when I started here (at least on the men's side (Hi Letakain and 7up) are Dov and Kedusha, wish it was only Dov. (Yes I left out Guard on purpose).

Guard is not either around much anymore.

He may have a VERY good reason for being too busy. But the fact is that he hardly posts. (I don't fully believe that his being sooooo busy is the only reason why he doesn't spend much time here anymore. I think he became bored of this forum. Many others have. The issues & topics just about stay the same, over and over. This is why some of the others withered away.)

I was responding to this- guess that wasn't so clear. I meant, its not so much an issue of how long it takes or how long one is on the forum. The main thing is that one remains on the path of working toward recovery.

When I read this forum and I see the people who are struggling with themselves and yet so quick to offer chizuk to others, people who are so careful not to write anything that could trigger somebody else, etc. All I can think is

For what it is worth me3, your lines brought a smile to my face. Well, you did say the truth, that is funny, we are addicts, we are humans and then we write as if we were Moshe. Heavy stuff.

That is funny, when you look at it... Sort of cool.

I gotta be honest (it's in the 12 step contract) though, you get real help sometimes from those, that you would really least expect (from the old lady who can hardly walk, from the bus driver, from an idiot who can't even cross the street). Real life savers - that is from my life.

That is good sometimes, cos it means that we can be life savers too in some situation. For real, even though. Sort of a gift from Hashem.
