(Nor do I understand why Brits drink this stuff. I guess it's as hard to know as the French and Cynar. If you don't know it, don't ask. Although it's made from artichokes, if that helps explain.)

btw i was wondering, if you have  better wine at your meal you need to say the bracha of... i forgot the bracha but there is one, like hamakon or something like that...anyway my question is why wouldnt you make kiddush with the best wine... (not saying that palwin isnt amazing!)
