Give a hug, get a hug.
My teenage daughter wasnt in a good mood today cuz she wasnt feeling well, so over a little thing she got upset at breakfast and moved to sit alone at the dining room table to finish her cereal. Instead of letting it fester, I quietly got up from the kitchen and went to join her, and when the rest of the fam began to follow suit, she had a good laugh and we all went back to the kitchen table to finish together. Everyone wound up in good moods again, ready to face their day.
Getting a big hug from her afterwards was like getting a "Good Housekeeping" seal of approval from Hashem.
Wow You're a great dad....
I wonder if G-d sometimes does that with is....
Oh, NOYA, the Hashgacha INVENTED a sense of humor in the b'riya. Like when I sneeze or clap my hands in my house, and outside there's a large CRASH as a tree falls nearby, etc. It looks like my action caused that to happen, because of the close secession of the events. And it's FUNNY!! Cause obviously one has absolutely NOTHING to do with the other. So why is Hashem DOING that?
I feel these things are a lesson in Hashgacha Produce,
, where Hashem is just giving us a moshul so we remember the same message is about our Parnose. it LOOKS like it's my effort that makes me get that check or land that account, because they come in close succession to each other, it looks like clear cause and effect. But the REALITY is that NONE OF IT has to do with my effort. it really was ALL HASHEM, ALL THE TIME.
Now, the cool thing is that Hashem chooses to teach this lesson in a VERY FUNNY WAY. That's his divine sense of Humor, to get us to laugh at the absurdity of our own Egos, and teach us at the same time.
GHG!!!
Go Hashem, GO!!
