No hugs for over three days???  This cannot be!

Well, here goes . . .

I lost one of my gloves last night.  This morning, after I parked my car, and while walking to my office, I found it.  It was on the sidewalk, where I had dropped it over 13 hours earlier.  HUG!!

I called Letakain in the middle of class
and she spoke with me anyway.

Yup; I call that a HUG! :D

and my professor didn't even end up being mad, mom. as i walked in he just said "r u ok?"
and i slid the mask back on and was like "yeah, thanks" with a smile
he didn't even mark me late.
and my hug was that mom called me
and that everyone was so supportive today.
you all are the best family!

typing the newsletter for pre-school and in the newsletter the teacher writes about aleph beis:

they were learning the letter samach- talking about the sivivon and how they watched it spin and fall and they picked it up and spun it again. how perfect.
then they spoke about how the samach has a ssssslippery ssssside and how they played a game where they put glasses on the Ayin (eyes?) !!!!! :D ;D

i was with my "perfect" friend, the one with the frum family, with the parents who want to support her, with the calls from every shadchun redding her the best boys (bli ayin hara, she deserves all that and more)
and i was getting the tiniest bit jealous. is it too much to ask Hashem for parents like hers?
and then hug from Hashem, and my jealousy went away. and all of a sudden she was just my close friend who i cared about more than anything.
thank you Hashem for letting me let go of my jealousy, and for allowing me to see the bigger picture.
i have my nisyonos, she has hers.
thanks Hashem for giving me the things that make me me.

K, as anyone who read my thread knows, yesterday 7up was having a down day (7down?)

Not only did all the responses help me find my smile again, but I also received this cool email yesterday. Perfect timing "coincidence". Me thinks not!

Should you find yourself at a loss and pondering what is life all about, asking what is my purpose? Be thankful. There are those who didn't live long enough to get the opportunity.


Should you find yourself the victim of other people's bitterness, ignorance, smallness or insecurities; remember, things could be worse. You could be one of them!

Okay, so todays hug was more a nes than hug.

My son was just home for lunch and wanted a drink of water, so he asked his younger brother to pass the water pitcher which was sitting on the counter.
As he reached for it though, it slipped out of his hand and spilt all over the floor.
It was at that moment that they realized something was amiss;
the spilt water was full of bubbles!

Seems his older brother had decided the pitcher needed a cleaning, so had filled it with [poisonous] cleaning detergent and left it to soak!
