Sorry letakain.
I had a rough week and friday i was exhausted emotionally and physically.
Today,Sunday,we will be saying perek 8,iy'h.
There are 2 basic themes in todays perek
1)Awareness of the tremendous majesty that Hashem holds over the universe,and how it can be found in every single thing.
2)The power that was given (a little surprisingly) to man and the heights he can reach.

May we use that power to make Hashem's name even greater!

TOdays perek is perek 9-Lamnatzayach al mos Laben(most mefarshim say he was an enemy of Dovid)
A most gevaldige mizmor.
In it Dovid goes on about Hashem's glory and unlimited might and compassion for His people.
He shows that our enemies have all dissappeared without a trace,and only Klal Yisrael shall remain.
"Hashem will be a fortress for the oppressed,a fortress in times of distress".
"And those who know Your Name will trust in You,for You have not forsaken those who seek You".
"Sing to Hashem Who dwells in Zion,proclaim His deeds among the nations."
"That the Avenger of blood has remembered them,He has not forgotten the cry of the humble".
"The peoples sank in their self-made pit,in the very trap they concealed,their own foot was ensnared".
"The wicked will return to the depths of the grave."

Why is it that their memories shall fade so?
One could maybe answer that all that is real in this world is Hashem.All evil is an illusion,because evil is just that which lacks Godliness.Therefore,it is pashut that illusions are only temporal,while the Jews,the epitome of Godliness in this world,are forever.
Sorry if that was a little too deep,guys.

But this applies to us all too well.
Our desires seem so strong and so real.
They are such a powerful force,overtaking us.
Will it ever end???!!!

Yes.
For desires are temporal,and impulsive.
The yetzer is a fleeting wave.
In the end,all the shall remain...
is us...
and G-d.
