Even though I have built relationships with many guys around here, they are mostly one-sided. Me trying to spread good cheer, a vort of chizuk, or a general nice chat to others. When Yosef Hatzadik finds himself at the bottom of a pit with snakes & scorpions, how many of his brothers came looking for him, to return him to his Father?

But precisely when I am pushing you away is EXACTLY when I need help the MOST!



A real friend will keep trying (the way ZemirosShabbos does!). Last night, my daughter was laying on the floor crying. We attempted to calm her, but to no avail. Did we just give up & let her cry? No. We let her stay there a few more minutes & then we tried again. We used another tactic. we did not give up until she was smiling again. Is that an example of unconditional giving? (No, but it is close...)
