Amazing idea. While I dont go to the catskills I often go away on business and I feel the YH is equally as strong then.

Its funny. I have this kind of understood deal with the Aibeshter.

If I keep clean and dont do anything assur my trip is a success. But if I stumble and falter I can kiss success good bye and hope to do better next time.

Regarding having Good Friends.

This is a "Gevaldiger" story I don't remember were I read or Heard it.

A Slonimer Chosid was away on a Business trip when he was he was confronted with a Huge Nisayon. He was about to give in to the Y"H when all of a sudden he thought to himself that when he returns his Rebbe will see on his face what he did and he wont be able to face his Rebbe again. So the Y"H gives him an idea to drop his Rebbe and all will be fine.

Ok! he was ready to go for it and then he thinks to himself that, if I don't go to my Rebbe because he will see what I did I will also lose all my Friends that I have and I don't have a life without my Friends!

So he told the Y"H to go fly a Kite!

When he got back from his trip & went into The Slonimer Rebbe (I don't know which one) before he had a chance to say anything the Rebbe said to him "Vus Ah Rebbe Kenn Nisht Oispoilen, Hubben Gitte Chaveirim GeKennt Oispoilen!"

I'm repeating a few pointers I Heard at a Shalosh Seuda this past Shabbos Regarding going up to The Mountains for the Summer.

A good tip to stay strong is not fall to Peer Pressure & having to do what "Everyone" dose in the country if its right or wrong like,

New Clothing one week into the Summer after we just finished all our summer shopping we need to shop again for Latest Trends we saw others have that are ripping out everyone's Eyes impressing everyone Else's Husband and Wife except for our own.

Suddenly we are into.

Gemilas Chessed - Offering to take other couple's Shopping together or a hitch to Town out of the goodness of our hearts. offering help to other woman (if only we would be as helpful at out own homes) Ect.
Hachnosas Orchim - Having other Couples eat over at our Bungalow or House.
Sholoim Bais Yup! at home Chairs are flying but outside we go on this Romantic Friday Night Walk (only if there are other people still up)

We have to Stop Impressing Everyone & live our own lives! We should impress others with our NOT going with the flow. with our being strong in every holy thing, from not talking by Davening to spending much needed Quality time with the family Ect.

Lets not kid ourselves, we try to impress other people all the time. it doesn't help in this fight we are struggling with, especially if we succeed in impressing another persons Husband or Wife, that's when we really are in hot water.

No one out there has it better then me and you & if they do so can we with our "Own" Husband or Wife, if only we would put in as much effort into impressing our own spouses as much as we try to impress our friends spouses.

I have yet to hear a single success story with a Happy Ending that came out from Impressing others.

Yet after saying all this & talking to myself out loud we still have a hard time not falling into this trap of the Y"H. so like Reb Jack said we will need each other to stay strong and to talk about are struggles to one another this way if we get it out of our systems we might have a better chance at fighting off the Y"H and Winning!

Had a great Shabbos in the country. Barely had to speak to any women even to say good shabbos and I didn't get into any long conversations. It was truly yad Hashem as I felt the Habaa Letaher misayin Oso throughout the weekend. After my initial resistance to the YH, hashem made it really easy for me in a way that i have never felt in my life. I hope to continue to get such special treatment from HKB"H.
