Geula in essence takes something precious that is trapped.... and releases it to Freedom, Holiness, etc...

Perhaps that is why the theme of Mashiach is always about taking something Good which is cloaked in Darkness (Think: Tamar, Rus, Yishaiy, Dovid...) and releasing it to Holiness.....

All of us are here trying to aspire to polish diamonds (Ourselves, Families, Other GYE members, etc....) that are seemingly lost under a bunch of mud....

But underneath it all is a beautiful precious Diamond... It is there somewhere...

Peace and Love fellow Diamonds....

CA,

Why are we getting serious ? Because future generations may read old GYE archives and maybe they'll need some chizuk.  :

What's even more hilarious to me is that this thread, obviously created by a keystroke "coincidence" (i.e., hash. prat.), is now MORE popular than the actual "real life" thread.

Which had to do with how to interact with "young" people on this Forum. What I've seen in the posts to teens seems like a movie title: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.

Maybe someone will go over THERE by some keystroke "coincidence" and share....

It is already Shabbos in Eretz yisroel, so Dov In Israel cannot respond:

"When we shed LIGHT on the SITUATION we see how FUNNY it is"

Tha Satmar Rebbe Ztz"l is said to have said:Chazal tell us that nothing stands in the way of a person's WILL, Ein lach davar ha'omed bifnei harotzon. If so, why are we not perfect?

We don't have the WILL yet. We WANT to have a WILL.    We WANT to WANT.

With these words he explained the wording in the zemer Yedid Nefesh: Nichsof nichsafti. I Lusted to LUST - the good kind of Lust. Lusting for closeness to Hashem!!!!

You guys are all too funny...thanks for the laughs !

Wishing you all a good Shabbos, and also a good week, because next week I have a huge project at work which will probably allow me no time at all for GYE    and I will definitely miss you guys.

Too harsh for me....
Wanting to want is also wanting... it's also valuable... maybe not as valuable, but valuable never the less....

We are small people... (or at least I am...)

Tried123, you are in GOOD company! Those words, Nichsof nichsafti were written by Ba'al Hachareidim many many years ago! (I think about 400 - 500 years ago!)

The Satmar Rav was explaining that we are all on your level! We all try to try!
