I installed the latest version of k9. Unfortunately although its better than the version I had before, there is a problem with it. I have it set to block the internet for 5 minutes if there are 5 blocked pages within 5 minutes. There are many times, where although I am not getting 5 blocked pages it locks me out. I dont know why its happening, but it did not happen with the older version of k9.

The problem with all of this is that I cannot use it without knowing the password. I need to be able to use the internet when I need it, and cannot afford to be locked out. However, if I hold the password there is no point it having the filter at all as I can bypass it too easily.

So does anyone know how I can the previous version? I would really really appreciate the help.

mdmjerusalem	EME about the 5 times, there are allot of pages (or part of them) that are blocked without your knowledge well the password can be given to third party like we all do

eme	I know how important it is. Also as I said in the OP, I cannot hand over the password to someone do to this issue. If they had the password then how would I be able to unlock it when I need it?

eme	Once again, thats great if your sponsor is able to answer your emails at any second of the day. I need my internet access for work, and cannot afford to wait around till they unlock it for me. It is not an option period.

mdmjerusalem	I also felt the same, not wanting to jeopardize my business by limiting my access. However in the end I jumped (as our Rebbe called it), and honestly I have had difficulties to access essential sites, but at least I rescued my Neshomo. Eme, don’t be concerned for your wealth more that for yourself! JUMP there is more than a mattress down there to absorb the collision.

I sent you an older version already, but you claim it doesn't work with Vista. So why do you ask again for the older version? If you are determined, you will find a way. There are over 20 Filter options in our filter section. I am sure you can find at least ONE that works for you!!

Im no tzadik, but Im going to punish the yetzer hara for what he has done to me.

Yes, it didnt work. I had an earlier version that did work with vista though.
