But how ironic life is... I did win that day, but found myself facing the same situation at around midnight if I remember correctly. This time I wasn?t so quick to get out. I did not however fall the whole way... Still I do not feel proud or happy, I should not have even got myself into this position in the first place! I was saved by HaShem.

Today, after sleeping that is, I did not (yet) slip or fall the same way I did yesterday.

No one has posted in 6 days.I hope to G-d this means that everyones 100% sober.
Cause if i find out that chas veshalom people have been slipping and have been hesitant to post...
oy when i catch them!

Well, I've fallen 3 times in the past 4 days. You might say I've had a hard week.  

Today I'm feeling very stressed out, again (really crazy at work for me, a lot of pressure). I'm feeling the itch to sedate myself for a few minutes of pleasure.

please hold on ! don't do it any more. i've been clean now for 23 days for the first time in my life and i feel so fantastic ,i want everyone to feel this way too. i know what you mean about pressure at work . i spent a lot  of time today asking H' to remove my anxieties so i can do his will.but in the end  i got some things done .we have to recognize what we can change and what we can't . i gave all my angers and frustrations and fears and worries  to H' today for the first time in my life .it worked then came back and i did it again and i t worked again !please, let H'  have the problems ,He can handle it ! Good luck my brother.

Hey Momo. I am now sitting at a bus stop, with my computer open (yerushalayim-there's wifi in the streets...), hoping that I can remain alone a bit so I can be here for the next few minutes...

Do you have any idea what might have triggered these burning feelings? Are there other things in your life that are bothering you at this moment? Can you share with us?

And two ppl just joined me at the bus stop... b'hatzlacha!! i have faith in you and ur great, no matter what happens!!

I just read in the sefer chassidim (173) that just like we daven to Hashem with all our strength when we are in the midst of a temporary misfortune or physical suffering, how much more so must we daven to Him when we feel about to fall in sin - which is a suffering and misfortune for all eternity!!
