Now I think I get it.

Guard, I had no idea what you were doing. I thought it was an incomplete post and I was waiting for you to finish writing. Then Uri came and helped explain.

I think you mean that HaShem answered my prayer by sending me Yaakov and Uri. That is deep. I thought HaShem wasn't helping me since I didn't feel better after my short prayer, but He was planning something even bigger for me.

R' Chaim Wosner writes in his sefer Reai Chaim about this problem, although he does not elaborate too much. His point is basically "stop staring at the girl in the bank and you will see how your interest in your wife will come back".

One of the main problems which we face is the build up of hormones which drive us crazy sometimes, and once married you have a legal outlet, but you should keep your attention focused on THIS subject.

The Garden of Peace, which I recommend in any event (I'm almost done reading it for the second time), specifically discusses just how destructive wandering eyes (even short of pornography) is for the marital relationship (intimate and otherwise).

Just as an alcoholic needs to avoid that first sip, a lust addict needs to avoid that first slip.Slip today? No way! ;)Fall today? No way, Jose'!

Just wanted to share with you that the day that I stop running away from lust because it is very, very dangerous for me and go back to trying to avoid it primarily because it is ossur, is the day I'd probably c"v pick it right up again. And that would likely be the end of my reality as my family and I know it.
I am sure my Eternal Best Friend wants me to stay alive and sane. He really, really likes me, you know. Hope I'm being clear.
