You just have to make it through today - that's it. One day at a time. Just think of how good you'll feel having made it through this! Set Gedarim, avoid even a slip. You're certainly able to make it through.

BTW, are you doing the 90 day chart? That chart is a life saver.

As for me, (whether you believe/understand it or not) it is a complete miracle that I am sober today, so far. I do not really see what there is to fear, though I feel scared sometimes, too. If I do not want to be sober on a given day, I tell Him so and ask Him to help me because I do not want to be sober that day. I ask Him to help me want to be sober right then, and I keep asking Him for that whenever I remember that I want to use lust, R"l.

Hey, He'll be with me (big time, in a guilty way) after I act out....so I give up to the truth and figure: why not let Him into the room before I act out?  : :o

It's nice that you have friends to talk to when you are hurting, though, so that's certainly a big plus for you! Hatzlocha!

20 minutes is not THAT much to try & delay the problem!


If you can accomplish that short time frame, try extending it a bit.
