I had 10 years of private supervision with Dr. Rogelio Sosnik, a senior clinician and administrator of the American Psychoanalytic Association. I work psychoanalytically.
In working psychoanalytically I work in what is known as the transference. The transference situation with lust addiction is a difficult and complex one. It is a bit difficult to express via the written word to someone who is not himself a clinician. The goal is cure. The prognosis is best for men between the ages of 20-40. Once a man is 50 or over my experience is that the prognosis is poor.
I have many years of successful experience treating lust addicts. It is complex and difficult work and requires tremendous commitment on the part of both the therapist and the patient.
