Smile a bit: Pre-Pesach division of labor

By GYE Member

I offered to divide the preparations for Pesach equally with my wife. The Pasuk says, "For seven days you shall eat Matzos and there should be no Chametz found in your houses." I told her that I will be in charge of buying the Matzos and she will be in charge of making sure there is no Chametz in the house.

The doctor said I should be able to walk again in about a month.

These 19 short videos clips are excerpts from a series on theshmuz.com by Rabbi Ben Tzion Shafier called "The Fight - A Frank Strategy and Pan for Conquering Desire".

Video 3: A Diamond with a Flaw

I want you to imagine that in my hands I'm holding two diamonds. In my right hand is a 10 carat beautiful diamond with a slight flaw, but a beautiful, beautiful diamond. In my left hand is a 10 carat diamond, but absolutely flawless, internally, externally, a perfect diamond. But the 10 carat diamond in my other hand that is completely flawless internally and externally is worthless. Because the only place that they make flawless diamonds is in the laboratory; it's a fake.

As a matter of fact, one of the first things that a jeweler would look for is the flaw in the diamond..."

It's not hard once you bring Hashem in the picture!

By GYE Member

I'm a teenager.

I was out of hope. I couldn't stop; it was painful to stop and the desires kept coming. So I decided to learn about wasting seed in general, and when I found out that what I'm doing is a severe sin every time I would be tempted I would speak to Hashem, my Father, about my issues and the fact that I'm hopeless, and lots of times I would burst  into tears. Once, I fell and right after I said to Hashem, shaking after falling, and said like a child to his father, "You have to help me, please!" Ever since, Hashem has been walking with me, literally.
