I said Modim 4 times by Shachris today.

I guess I wasn't grateful enough...

The fourth time, I was grateful that at least I didn't have to say the entire Shemona Esrei four times!

I go into the bathroom just to wash my hands because they are dirty and find myself saying asher yatzar
Think about how good you'll feel if you say no to desire and compare that to how bad you'll feel if you say yes.

Desire is unique in the way that it is never fulfilled -  if you give in the desire comes back even more powerful in just a few days. Telling yourself that its ok because this is really the last time doesn't work because you are just adding new images to your head that will cause future falls.

The Joy of triumph over the yetzer hara is worth the effort it takes to win. It IS worth it! Keep fighting!

This isn't really embarrassing but who else always finds a hangnail like right after shabbos/yom tov starts and then it pesters you for the rest of the day?

Just me?

Doing the “rockstar hand symbol” (-with the index, thumb and pinky fingers up, and the middle and ring fingers down) to ensure that the tefillin shel rosh is straight, confidentally nodding and moving on with davening... and then looking at a mirror a few minutes later and seeing that it’s totally off-center
